A little break

My family and I are taking on a challenge to read the Book of Mormon and mark every time we come across certain things like Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, or other doctrines. So, to this blog, I will say goodbye for a while. Thanks for reading, friend!

You could blog something else, like where you find those mentioned or a "daily thankful" - our Relief Society is trying to mention either in journals or on blogs one way Heavenly Father touched their lives each day. If you stop blogging all of us out west will never hear from you again! :) Good luck with the challenge. Talk to you soon!

Thanks for the comment! You're right, I do need to keep writing something. From the challenge, I've had great readings in Enos, Jarom, Omni, and Words of Mormon. (I decided to start the challenge in the Book of Mormon in a different spot than the beginning, since I have recently gone through 1 Nephi with a fine tooth comb.) For example, in Jarom he states that he wasn't going to detail his revelations and prophesies on the Small Plates, because hadn't his fathers (the previous prophets) already revealed the Plan of Salvation? Because he mentions this, I think that the Plan of Salvation is one of the most, if not the most, important parts of the gospel. In fact, the first lesson in Seminary and Institute classes is on the Plan of Salvation. So, my thoughts as I go through the challenge, I believe would be good to write down. : )
